Lovewell Farms CBD Flower

Why Our CBD Flower?

We are dedicated to providing our customers with smokable raw hemp flower that is free from contaminants and high in beneficial compounds. Our Southern Rhode Island hemp farm uses sustainable cultivation methods and only high quality organic inputs, for the health of our plants and our soil. Our goal is to create a flourishing, diverse ecosystem which improves plant quality and health, while eliminating the need for chemical pesticides that could potentially harm our customers or our ecosystem.

Once our CBD Flower is ready for harvest, we take just as much care to preserve their beneficial compounds and avoid contamination, from the moment we harvest until delivery to our customers. Unlike other growers, we do not dry our hemp using heat - which can evaporate and oxidize cannabinoids, terpenes, and other volatile compounds - nor do we utilize a greenhouse or barn that could potentially introduce contaminants through a lack of climate control. Once harvested, we hang our hemp in a carefully controlled drying environment that reduces moisture at the proper rate to preserve botanical compounds and eliminate the possibility of introducing mold, dust, dirt and other contaminants. Our small scale farm model allows us to closely monitor the entire process, which delivers a hand-crafted, high-quality final product for our customers.

We partner with a Rhode Island state-licensed laboratory to regularly test our CBD flower for pesticides, heavy metals, microbial populations, and cannabinoid content, and we provide those test results to our customers on our website and product packaging, as well as at the point of sale. Whether we are growing hemp for CBD flower or CBD extract, our process ensures that the end product is high in the properties you want, and free from anything you don’t.

What is CBD Flower Used For?

CBD flower can be used in a variety of ways. The most common way is to smoke or vaporize flower for an immediate effect, but CBD flower can also be infused into oils for cooking or making herbal remedies at home.

We are dedicated to providing our customers with CBD products that fit every lifestyle, and we recognize that for many, CBD flower is one of the most affordable and efficient methods to ingest CBD.

CBD flower can be used for the same purpose as any other ingestible form of CBD, and many of our customers report using it to assist with anxiety, pain, and insomnia. Others use it for recreational or relaxation purposes, including mixing it with THC-rich cannabis flower for a more balanced cannabinoid profile. Many find that smokable CBD flower can provide the relaxation they are looking for from smoking cannabis, but without the psychoactive effects of high-THC cannabis.

Should I Smoke or Vaporize CBD Flower?

Inhalation is one of the most efficient and effective means of ingesting cannabinoids and terpenes. The beneficial compounds are absorbed quickly into the bloodstream and produce faster results, compared to other forms of ingestion delivery. It is also a more affordable option, when considering the percent of CBD in the flower. For example, one gram at 15% CBD would contain approximately 150mg of CBD, at a lower cost compared to 150mg CBD in a tincture form.

Smoking is the act of combusting the hemp flower. This can produce some harmful byproducts, as all smoke does, and for that reason we recommend vaporizing CBD flower if possible. Vaporizers heat the material to a temperature of 220F to 430C, which evaporates and volitalizes the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other plant compounds, without producing the harmful byproducts of combustion. Vaporizing is equally as effective as smoking with none fewer potential harms.
